Homework for week of May 15-19

Students should be choosing at least 2 afternoons during the week and one weekend day to do a whole session of xtramath.org with the Beat the Teacher section.  They can choose which nights they would like to go on and they can always do extra days.  It is very important for students to know their math facts.
We are continuing book groups this week.  Students have a calendar showing the days their group is meeting.  Students need to have the reading and notes ready for meeting dates.

Tomato Plant Experiment:  Students need to graph the height of their plants each day and some days will have longer observations.  They will be marked in their assignment books.

Early Release - Wed

Monday (Day 4):
Read for 15 min (Book Group Reading)
Math -   Geometry Review Sheet - test tomorrow

S.S. - Review Southeast states and capitals - quiz Thurs

Tuesday (Day 5):
Read for 15 minutes (Book Group Reading)

Wednesday (Day 5):
Read for 15 minutes (Book Group Reading)
Math - xtramath (iReady or ixl.com if done)
S.S. - Review Southeast states and capitals - quiz tomorrow
Science - Tomato plant graph and long observation

Thursday (Day 6):
Read for 15 minutes (Book Group Reading)
No Math
Start to work on Tomato Plant Book Cover.  Look at directions on the sheet.-  due Monday
