STA Food Drive is Coming Up

Industrial Revolution Debate

The students did a fabulous job yesterday and today with their debates on whether the Industrial Revolution was a positive or negative time period.  They included so much research in their arguments and questions.  I was very impressed how well they each spoke and pushed others to think deeper.

Here are some pictures of the debates:

Preparing for Debate

We worked last week in reading on gathering all our evidence of we believe the Industrial Revolution was a positive or negative time in the US history.  Students are working in groups of four or five to debate another team this week.  They practiced on Friday with a partner sharing their thoughts and answering questions from the opposing side.
