Homework for week of May 8-12

Students should be choosing at least 2 afternoons during the week and one weekend day to do a whole session of xtramath.org with the Beat the Teacher section.  They can choose which nights they would like to go on and they can always do extra days.  It is very important for students to know their math facts.
We are continuing book groups this week.  Students have a calendar showing the days their group is meeting.  Students need to have the reading and notes ready for meeting dates.

Tomato plants should be coming home Tuesday.  There will be an email sent with more information on Tuesday.  Students need to graph the height of their plants each day and some days will have longer observations.  They will be marked in their assignment books.
