Fork Project

I hope you all heard 4B and 4G's plastic fork project has been a great success!  The students did a wonderful presentation to the SMS School Board last Wednesday.  They shared our research and hopes for having SMS switch to metal forks.  The school board was very pleased with all their hard work and surprised us with a vote that night to put $500 towards buying metal utensils and the dishwasher containers for cleaning them.  They would also like some students to come back in June to explain their next steps for teaching the staff and students about this switch.
