Homework for Week of May 22-26 - updated

Students should be choosing at least 2 afternoons during the week and one weekend day to do a whole session of xtramath.org with the Beat the Teacher section.  They can choose which nights they would like to go on and they can always do extra days.  It is very important for students to know their math facts.
We are finishing book groups this week (few groups finished last week).  Students have a calendar showing the days their group is meeting.  Students need to have the reading and notes ready for meeting dates.

No School - Monday, May 29th (Memorial Day)

Monday (Day 3):
Read for 15 min (Book Group Reading)
Math -   xtramath (iReady or iXL if done)
Science- Tomato Plant Graph and long observation - packets must be brought back tomorrow

Tuesday (Day 4):
Read for 15 minutes (Book Group Reading)
Math -  Sheet 5-1
S.S. - Review Midwest states and capitals

Wednesday (Day 5):
Read for 15 minutes (Book Group Reading)
Math - Sheet 5-3
S.S. - Review Midwest states and capitals - quiz next Wednesday

Thursday (Day 6):
Read for 15 minutes (Book Group Reading)
Math - Sheet 5-4
SS - Review Midwest states and capitals - quiz next Wednesday

Friday (Day 1):
Read for 30 minutes
SS - Review Midwest states and capitals - quiz next Wednesday
