Busy Week

This week we were busy working on a lot of different projects.  One afternoon we made Valentine's Day cards for the troops serving overseas.  They cards will be passed on to the Pease Greeters to send over on one of the planes flying out of Pease.  Students put a lot of effort into their cards and wrote great messages to the soldiers telling them how much we appreciate everything they do.

If you look in the background of this page you can see all the postcards we have collected around our United States map.  We will be collecting them all year.  

We have also been practicing for the Civil Rights school wide morning meeting the fourth graders will be leading on Tuesday.  We practiced the song "What Can One Little Person Do?" by Sally Rogers.  As a class we have discussed how each of us can do little things to help others and make sure everyone feels included.
