Students who had all their work caught up this week and last week were able to try two new apps on the iPads.
One of the apps we used was Sakura Quick Math.
Students practiced all four of the math operations and used their fingers to
write the answers on the screens.
Many students were able to set new
records of the number of problems completed in the time given.
The second app we tried was The Opposites. It pops up words and students have to click on the words which are antonyms. We even had some of our vocabulary words appear.
You may
want to try these apps out at home too. If you know a great educational app I would love to hear about it.
