Homework for Week of April 16 - 20

Students should choose at least 2 afternoons during the week and one weekend day to do a whole session of xtramath.org with the Beat the Teacher section.  They can choose which nights they would like to go on and they can always do extra days.  It is very important for students to know their math facts.  If your child does not have access to xtramath then they can practice with flashcards or with a game if you have one that practices the facts.

Jump Rope for Heart is on Friday, so students should dress appropriately with sneakers and coat since the weather predictions are pretty chilly.

Monday (Day 1):
Read for 15 min (Book Group - check calendar)
Math - Classifying Quadrilaterals
Spelling -  Regular Sort
SS -West quiz - tomorrow

Tuesday (Day 2):
Read for 15 min (Book Group - check calendar)
Math - Triangles and Quadrilaterals Sheet
Spelling - Regular Sort and record

Wednesday (Day 3):
Read for 15 minutes (Book Group - check calendar)
Math -Symmetry Sheet
Spelling - Spelling City

Thursday (Day 4):
Read for 15 minutes
Math:  Patterns Sheet
Spelling: Blind Sort

Friday (Day 5):

Read for 30 min
