Students should be choosing at least 2 afternoons during the week and one weekend day to do a whole session of xtramath.org with the Beat the Teacher section. They can choose which nights they would like to go on and they can always do extra days. It is very important for students to know their math facts.
We are starting social issue book groups at the end of this week. Your child will have a calendar showing what days their group is meeting. Reading should be done before they get to school and they should be coming to their meetings with post its written with thoughts or questions to share with the group.
