Homework for Week of October 17-21

Students should be choosing at least 2 afternoons during the week and one weekend day to do a whole session of xtramath.org with the Beat the Teacher section.  They can choose which nights they would like to go on and they can always do extra days.  It is very important for students to know their math facts.

Remember to look at your calendars for your book group reading.

Monday (Day 3): 
Read for 15 minutes
Math - ixl.com - choose a few between T1-T5 under 3rd grade
Spelling - Cut out words and do a regular Sort (no writing)

Tuesday (Day 4):
Read for 15 minutes
Math -  ixl.com - choose a few between T1-T5 under 3rd grade
Spelling - Blind Sort

Wednesday (Day 5):
Read for 15 minutes
Math - Telling Time to 5 Minute
Spelling - Speed Sort - Do the sort twice with someone or a stopwatch timing you.  Record the two times in your assignment book

Thursday (Day 6):
Read for 15 minutes
Math - Telling Time to Minute Sheet
Spelling - Spelling City

Friday (Day 1):

Read for 30 minutes
