Testing out Activotes

Our class is one of two classes trying a new technology tool with our Promethean Board.  The students each use an Activote clicker to answer multiple choice questions.

A question is shown on the board with choices for the answer.  Then each student presses the letter they think is with the correct answer.  Their name is highlighted to show they voted, but their answers are not shown on the board.

After the last student votes we see the class results.  This has been an easy way for me to see if we need to discuss a topic further when we are reviewing it.  I also get all the individual results saved on my computer, so I can see which students might need a little extra help with a topic.

The kids were so excited to find out what was in the "Mystery Case" and then to try them out.  It definitely helps keep all the kids actively engaged in reviews.
