Students should choose at least 2 afternoons during the week and one weekend day to do a whole session of xtramath.org with the Beat the Teacher section. They can choose which nights they would like to go on and they can always do extra days. It is very important for students to know their math facts. If your child does not have access to xtramath then they can practice with flashcards or with a game if you have one that practices the facts.
Monday (Day 2):
Read for 15 min
Math - Practice Math Facts
Tuesday (Day 3):
Read for at least 30 minutes over the break

There are great videos to help with almost all our math concepts. Some you need to log in to watch, so I will be sending home a sheet with your child's access code. I would suggest using their google username and password when you have to set it up for a few less passwords to remember.

We had a fabulous day learning about Colonial times. The students cooked, learned about textiles, played games, and went to a one room schoolhouse. Here are some pictures from the day:
Thank you so much to all our chaperones. I appreciate all your help throughout the day.
